Hey you r u crazy?

I'm asking whether the other person is crazy as i loved Bundle of Joy, the character's had great chemistry and great songs. I adore the songs such as 'worry about another day' and 'Someday soon can't come too soon..' It is one of those few simple feel good movies which rarely come around but when they do they capture your heart. As for the comment on about the song 'It's all about Love' which the previous person hated i enjoyed and the joke about don't tell so and so wasn't supposed to be a roll over the floor and cry joke but one that could produce a smile or giggle which for me it did. The person who posted the response must not have good taste in movies to say what they did. I however a huge fan of films and musicals end up watching that film over and over again. For it is one of the greats which could stand next to seven brides for seven brothers. Any true lover of films and musicals must see this and if they ever see it on sell to post it as i live in the UK and only have a taped version. TTFN

Mitchum is hired to clean up the town.

Very good western. This was the first time writer Richard Wilson directed a film, also this was a first for Samuel Goldwyn Junior as a producer. It is a pleasure to see a very young and pretty Angie Dickinson as a saloon girl. Robert Mitchum comes to this town dominated by outlaws and is hired as a town tamer, but people are worried that he will go too far, also about the harm that he will do to the town´s businesses. There are some similarities in the story with "Warlock" which was made in 1959. This film keeps a very fast and exciting pace, it really keeps you on the edge.

Not Great but Good...Independent Horror Movie.

I was not sure what to expect going into TPOF. Obviously there was going to be trailer park and terror, but from the box I was assuming it was going to be another attempt at a independent zombie movie. I was wrong, dead wrong! TPOF is not a zombie movie, which is good (just because of the saturation), it also had an interesting setup which gave us some insight to the characters (Terry from 3's company is still hot!) but I had a serious problem with the storyline.

The are some flaws which should have been addressed, in addition to some unfunny scenes which were unnecessary. However the production value, set design and SPFX was above average from my perspective. The acting was decent plus being a no-budget producer myself, I know first hand how important these aspects are.

I could not recommend renting this unless you like slasher horror movies, good gore or dark humor and this is not a zombie movie, so if your expecting a zombie movie you will be disappointed. JP Welcome to Dreadville Series

Worst movie ever

I was so disappointed to have spent my money on this film. I guess I did not connect with the plot from the beginning, but if you are looking for good Colombian movies, this is the one to skip. The acting was pathetic, the jokes were repetitive, and the storyline produces an interesting aggressive effect in the audience, when people begin to beg for the movie to end. It tries to deal with difficult subjects, as drug addiction and how friendship and support help to overcome them, but it lacks pacing. Although I tend to be a patriot, when it comes to Colombian films, I also have to acknowledge when I see something that is not worth wasting my time on.

Review :

Beyond the Illusion

After 'Johnny Gaddaar' here's another amazing thriller. 'Manorama 6 Feet Under' is clearly an inspiration of 'Chinatown'. Note inspiration, not ripoff nor remake. In one scene you even see Chinatown playing on TV. The writing is clever, the visuals are impressive and the performances are very good. Director Navdeep Singh stays with his sub-heading 'In the desert nothing is as it seems'. So in 'Manorama 6 Feet Under' nothing is indeed as it seems. Singh smartly unfolds the mystery and springs a lot of surprises. The film is set in sandy Rajasthan which is portrayed as mysterious, dry, isolated, illusive and frightening. Thus, it's a perfect set-up for the film.

Coming to the performances, Abhay Deol scores again in yet another different role, not just different from what he's done but also from what other actors of today are doing. The actor is certainly here to stay and hope he continues the good work. Gul Panag has a simple role but she does her part very well. Raima Sen shows tremendous versatility. Sarika is stunning in the title role and Kulbushan Kharbanda and Vinay Pathak are very good.

The songs are minimal. But the few that we have are pleasant and adequate for the screenplay.

'Manorama 6 Feet Under' is one exciting puzzle and a treat to watch. It's bizarre. It's dark. It's funny. It's thrilling.
